There’s nothing I can say about ACA Member Tom Richmond’s Caricaturing Bible that hasn’t already been said by the biggest names in the cartooning industry, like Mort Drucker, Gary Trudeau and …Wierd Al Yankovic.
All I can say is, if you have any inclination whatsoever to learn about caricature; Buy it.
If you’ve been working in the industry for 30 years and think you know everything there is to know about caricature; Buy it.
If you like to read books; Buy it.
Anton Emdin has written up a clear and simple review on his own shiny blog. If anyone in Australia knows good caricature work when he sees it, it’s that guy. Or Tony Rafty. (But he can’t touch type.)
