QUEENSLAND MEETING:
Ten came for our first Qld get together for the year at The QLD, State Library, We met for coffee then went to our free pre-booked room overlooking the Brisbane river. An enjoyable and productive time was had as we discussed what we want from the Club this year.
The morning was rounded off 2 floors up wwere we viewed a selection of original cartoon and fine art by cartoonists from the early years of the last century.
The ACA would like to acknowledge the Griffith University College of Art Southbank Campus for their generous support of our industry in making their animation lab facilities available to Qld. ACA members during a recent introduction to Flash animation workshop.
The ACA also wish to thank animation lecturer and new ACA member John Eyley ( 2nd from left )for his initiative towards organising the workshop and for his enthusiastic skill in succeeding to teach a bunch of mostly beginner animators how to make their pictures move.
